Flora Quilt

A cheery mod flower quilt that makes the most of your favorite fat quarters.  This quilt would be perfect for a summer picnic or draped across a bed.  With large blocks and a generous border, this quilt comes together surprisingly quickly.

Pattern includes instructions for a single block mini quilt (or a great pillow front!) and a quilt (65x65).

Fabric Requirements:

Difficulty: Intermediate

Skills Needed:

• Curved Piecing
• 1/4" piecing: Close 1/4" seams will help accuracy but the cutting instructions are slightly oversized and units are trimmed down to size.
• Rotary Cutting skills
• Experience with bias seams is a plus.

Supplies:

• Sewing Machine
• Thread
• Rotary Cutter and Mat
• Iron for pressing
• Pins
• Paper templates for the curves are included in the pattern. However, acrylic templates will speed up the cutting process.  The 3 1/2" and 6 1/2" templates from https://www.bettycrockerass.com/shop/complete-set-of-all-templates are the same size as the templates provided in the pattern.
